Under the visionary leadership of its founders, the Shakuntla Watts Charitable Foundation (SWCF) was established with a singular purpose: to champion the rights and interests of women, fostering a more equitable society.
Inspired by the strong women in their lives, the founders undertook the challenge of promoting women’s welfare in a traditionally patriarchal society. They firmly believe that empowering women is crucial for building a sustainable society.
Recognizing the need for grassroots change, SWCF addresses the shortcomings of the current Indian Education System, which often overlooks issues pertinent to women’s daily lives. To bridge this gap, SWCF provides comprehensive training programs – vocational, technical, and beyond – alongside supplementary education and motivation for individuals, including dropouts.
