Project Plant A Tree

Through the pat Program, we educate about the significance of trees and actively plant them. Leaving a sustainable imprint on nature. We envision a future for the upcoming generations by sparking a significant environmental revolution through trees. Striving for a green, sustainable, and biologically diverse world.

Shakuntla Watts Charitable Foundation (SWCF) is dedicated to fostering a culture of environmental sustainability through the PAT Program. This initiative educates individuals about the vital importance of trees and actively promotes tree planting, leaving a lasting, positive impact on the environment.

Our vision is to spark a significant environmental revolution, empowering future generations to thrive in a green, sustainable, and biologically diverse world. By planting trees, we not only combat climate change and air pollution but also preserve biodiversity, support local ecosystems, and promote ecological balance. Through the PAT Program, SWCF strives to inspire a love for nature, encourage community involvement, and cultivate a culture of environmental stewardship, ultimately creating a better world for generations to come.

Project Yuvika

SWCF is dedicated to amplifying the voices and concerns of adolescent girls in society. Through a comprehensive engagement strategy, SWCF conducts awareness programs on critical issues such as Gender Equality, Sexual Abuse, Academic Failure, Peer Pressure, Health and Hygiene, Domestic Violence, Drug Effects, Male Dominance, and Confidence Development in government schools across North West Delhi.

According to UNICEF statistics, approximately 1.2 billion adolescents worldwide are navigating the transition from childhood to adulthood, with 243 million residing in India. Indian adolescents between 10 and 19 years old account for nearly a quarter of the total population, facing numerous challenges, including humanitarian crises, climate change, environmental degradation, and rapid urbanization. Therefore, sensitizing youth is crucial at this juncture.

To achieve this, SWCF conducts sensitization campaigns, training sessions, workshops, programs, seminars, and counseling in government schools across Nangloi, Bakkarwala, Mundka, and surrounding villages. SWCF ensures active participation from key stakeholders, including parents, guardians, teachers, government agencies, and students. A vital aspect of Women Empowerment is educating women about their well-being, safety, and rights, which SWCF diligently addresses.

This project is unique in that it is managed by a team of volunteers from various colleges and skill training centers. SWCF motivates and trains these volunteers, who are then assigned to conduct sensitization sessions in government schools.
