Project Sangini

SWCF’s Sangini initiative operates on a network-based framework, addressing pressing issues such as gender inequality, legal rights awareness, and health concerns across various communities and regions. The program aims to enlighten and enhance the thought process of women living in disadvantaged conditions, enabling them to develop coping strategies for everyday situations, make informed life decisions, and cultivate self-belief.

The community awareness program focuses on developing social skills through engaging activities such as community meetings, door-to-door surveys, street performances, rallies, road shows, and community counseling. By empowering women, SWCF motivates them to become community leaders, helping others develop social and economic skills. This program covers the entire northwest region of Delhi, including eight JJ colonies and four villages.

SWCF consistently works towards women’s empowerment through community awareness and engagement programs, undertaking various initiatives in villages and underdeveloped areas where women’s awareness is limited. By doing so, SWCF aims to break down social boundaries that restrict women from engaging with the outside world, ultimately fostering a society where women are socially and economically empowered.
